Its great the futon came with a replacement cover which you can clean. My main concern will be if its a genuine futon with wool and cotton fillings the possible smell that will come from the matt over a period of time. A futon does soak up fluids and that why its good to air a futon as often as possible but with a pet it could really smell!! If this issue can be resolved it will be time to start a new line of pet futons.
