SofaSofa is a UK based sofa retailer (obviously) which I just found. Normally I don’t spend a lot of time on sites that sell sofas, I sell futons and normally upholstery is one area I don’t focus on for long. SofaSofa was a bit different for me though, they are based in the UK (carrying all sorts of furniture companies I don’t usually see) and their site looked quite nice to me. So, I took a brief browse.
SofaSofa does have a nice selection, I saw a nice leather sofa (pictured above) that I really liked, and I even saw one interesting sofa bed as well. For me that’s saying something, I don’t usually go for leather of sleeper sofas.
So…, I just found this interesting grass sofawhile searching Google images. At first I was really excited, it’s an artsy piece and it looks quite nice. I was disappointed by ReadyMade and their register before info is given policy. Due to this policy I don’t know anything about the Grass Sofa, other than the fact that it looks damn good.
Right off the bat you may have just said yes, but maybe you should look at some popcorn machines to see if you’re really just missing out. Home cinemas have really increased in popularity over the past decade, going to the movies is really expensive, so having a great home setup is becoming more reasonable. A site like Stargate Cinema can set you on the path to home movie enjoyment. Check them out.
Today I’m meeting my little sister Halley at the Deerfield Inn in Old Deerfield Massachusetts. Halley called last night to tell me she’d be in Deerfield today, so we’re meeting at the coffee shop on the terrace of the Deerfield Inn for a quick snack. Here’s a little history on the Deerfield Inn:
This traditional country inn built in 1884 is an original, full-service inn located in the center of the 350-year-old National Historic Landmark village of Deerfield. Our 23 guest rooms of distinct size and shape, all with private bath, embody the heritage of Deerfield, and a feeling of comfort and home prevail. The Deerfield Inn uses the finest and freshest naturally-raised produce in its restaurant and our menus reflect the change in seasons. Breakfast is served daily, and dinner Thursday to Monday. In season, guests and travelers can find a quick lunch in the casual self-service Terrace Café at Historic Deerfield.
Lighting Showplace is a great site you should visit if you’re in the market for a table lamp. They have some great brand name lamps: Quoizel, Uttermost, Dale Tiffany are just a few of the top notch manufacturers available on Lighting Showplace. The prices at Lighting Showplace are also thirty to fifty percent lower for the exact same lamps, than the Western Mass retail store I used to work for.
Lee Furniture is one of the coolest, eco conscious furniture manufacturers I’ve seen in a while. Lee apparently strives to make furniture with a minimal eco foot print using renewable, recycled, and sustainable materials in the construction process. What isn’t hyped up on Lee’s website is the fact that they are transported in big diesel powered trucks, adding a bit to the environmental footprint. But that’s unavoidable these days.
What’s nice is that the furniture looks pretty good as well.
If that caught you eye you may be interested in i4vegas. Whats i4vegas? A nice site that lists all the rates for las vegas hotels, specifically for Las Vegas only. Now you can cut out all the other add-ons those other travel sites try to sell you and jump right into what you’re looking for.
I know must of us have seen the Geico commercial that used this footage, but I still think it’s a bad idea. I mean, (sarcasm) what could go wrong when you’re crashing into someone on a cinder block floor? But, at least their parents know what they’ve been paying for now.
I’m sure that quite a few of you, maybe most of you are probably telling yourselves that yes, I am set on all my rubber stamp needs. I have my “faxed” and “received” stamps and that’s what I use most of the time. But have you ever wanted any custom rubber stamps that are a little out of the norm? Maybe some manufacturer specific rubber stamps or maybe something specific to a certain freight company?
If so a site like Rubber Stamp Champ might be able to help you out. Rubber Stamp Champ just went through a major redesign on their site, so info is now extremely easy to find. Rubber Stamp Champ has grown steadily since it’s beginnings in 1991, and have recently expanded their product offering, nearly doubling the number of items their new and existing customers can now buy from them every day online. Sounds good right? Well, if you are involved in bookkeeping, shipping & receiving, or well, just like stamps it should.
