My little sister, Zoe, recently got her license and a car. Unfortunately a month after getting on the road she got in her first accident and the gas line sprung a leak. Luckily for her, my dad is a good mechanic and knows the right auto parts places to get the car back on the road.
I just did a search for Goodnight Moon Futon and I found that some guy running a Google adwords, spam farm, website has stolen three articles written by myself and placed them on his site to generate traffic! On one hand I’m a bit flattered. On the other I’m pretty annoyed since no link is provided to my sites and no credit is given!
So…
I wrote up an email requesting that the articles either be removed or link / credit given in order to remedy the situation. We’ll see how it turns out.
I don’t think that anyone could read that title and say “No”. Well, unless the laptop was broken!

Now for the anecdote:
This week has been a killer week. I’ve been helping my friend set up his web store, and we’ve been burning the midnight oil to get it done on time. I’ve been involved in quite a bit of the process, from the product database to the payment options. And it all would have been much easier had the server not been down for six hours yesterday. I know, six hours isn’t a whole lot of time, except when you have a dead line.

In the past few days I’ve seen quite a few people searching for organic futons on google and other search engines. Most people look for organic cotton futon mattresses, while others look for something in latex.
Most people don’t realize that you need a prescription for a chemical free futon mattress. Fire regulations in the US are very strict, thus the only legal way to purchase a chemical free futon is for your doctor or nurse practitioner to say you have chemical sensitivities and need a chemical free mattress. Now, as I guy I’m not a huge fan of Lifetime, but I was very surprised when I saw all the arcade games on their site. Games are one of the last things I’d expect on a Lifetime website! Now don’t get me wrong, most of the games were a little girly, but we are still talking about Lifetime.
