Cot Size Futon Mattresses

Today I’ve been working with a customer who needs a cot size futon mattress for an occasional use guest bed that’s going to get more frequent use by an exchange student. Well, she doesn’t really need a cot size futon mattress, but all the traditional cot size mattresses are thin and made with inferior foams, so she being a good host by looking into a nice, thick futon mattress option.

And so my search began!

At first I figured I’d have no trouble finding a cot sized futon mattress. Then I started looking at price sheets and calling manufacturers. To my disbelief cot futons are either non-existent or way over priced! As it turns out, cot futons are often considered custom jobs, thus the pricing is a bit higher (more expensive than a twin size futon). Who would think that smaller meant more expensive outside of the Fabergé egg world?

In the end I did manage to find an affordable all cotton cot from one of my manufacturers, so now I have an option for anyone in need of a cot size futon mattress on a budget.

My husband is having bypass surgery and he will be recovering for awhile and I want him to enjoy our porch so I thought instead of a typical outdoor furniture sofa I could buy a cot sized futon mattress (thick) for a sturdy metal or wood frame with an attractive futon cover. I cput a bunch of pillows and use it as a summertime sofa for the porch.

    Any ideas?

I have been scouring the internet for a cot size mattress for a chair that came with my daughter’s loft bed. I would be so grateful if you could send me the information as I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a mattress for a “free” chair and I can’t find the right mattress ANYWHERE.

    Bedding and Mattresses
Your Mattress will be the most important piece of furniture you ever purchase. Your physical, mental and daily performances are all directly correlated to the quality of sleep you’re getting. If your waking up with aches or stiffness these are signs that you need a new mattress. Lower back pain can be directly contributed to sleeping on a bad mattress. The older we get the better quality mattress we need. 800 coils on a queen is considered a good quality mattress. Latex is our top selling mattresses and I expect will be for a very long time. Health and comfort wise latex is the best. We will provide you with a top quality Canadian made mattress at the lowest possible price.
