Who Knew?

Maybe I’m a bit naive, or just don’t understand the idea, but I can’t quite figure out what loose diamonds are? Well, I’m almost sure they’re diamonds, but have they been removed from other jewelry, or are they waiting to be placed into settings of a customers choice?

Futon Questions

This month I ran into two customers over at Goodnight Moon Futon who were concerned about purchasing a futon or convert a couch due to space constraints. Both customers have very narrow doorways and were convinced that it would be impossible to get a full size piece of furniture through the door. Luckily our futon frames, mattresses, and convert a couches can fit just about anywhere.

Is it time to backup?

No, don’t get up! I’m referring to backing up your data on a data center hosting plan. Today, almost everyone has an external hard drive they backup their data to, but what if (god forbid) a fire were to burn your local hard drive and external drive? That backup won’t do you any good, so think about an off site backup today.

Sustainable Hardwood Futon Manufacturer Shuts Down…

My Akron Ohio based Sustainable Hardwood Futon Manufacturer announced late last week that they’ve decided to shut down. No US based manufacturer of fine sustainable hardwood futon frames, platform beds, and case goods made fine eco friendlier furnishings in futon industry today. All their furnishings included twelve year warranties and were only made from solid hardwoods sustainably harvested in Pennsylvania & Ohio.

If anyone is interested in picking up one of the Sustainable Hardwood futon frames, stock is limited so order as soon as possible if you want a high quality futon frame that’s easy on the eyes and the planet.

PS3

What the heck is a PS3?

If you just read that and thought “where the heck has this guy been?” you’re probably single and male. When I saw that Playstations were advanced as much as they have I had to be thankful to be married (if I had one of those things I’d never accomplish anything) and not having time for such distractions. Plus, I don’t know of any woman who really finds video games sexy, so if any of you young guys are reading this, take note.

If that doesn’t concern you, have a good time. One of those PS3’s looks like quite a bit of fun.

Looking for Tiles?

I’ve been looking to tile my kitchen for some time and I’ve found some great natural stone & ceramic tiles at BuyTiles.com. The selection looks pretty good, prices aren’t too shabby and they have quite a few promo codes that can save you a bunch of cash! So, check it all out if you’re in need of a deal on tiles for your space.

What a bummer!

Late last week I learned that one of my best manufacturers who makes sustainable hardwood futon frames is closing down! It looks like another great US based manufacturer who was trying to take a little pressure off the resources of the planet. I’m not sure if they’ve made the announcement public yet, so I’m not naming the company yet, but will do so very soon.

Online Learning!

With every other thing you can think of seeping on to the internet, it only makes sense to be able to get an Online master degrees into the mix. At Gonzaga University you can find a variety of online courses as well as traditional, in person, courses available. The Gonzaga University website has a ton of info, and seems quite well designed, so if you’re thinking about expanding your knowledge base and bettering yourself, but can’t commit to a traditional schedule on campus, this might be a good option for you.

Fall seems to be the eco friendly futon

This Fall I’ve seen quite a spike in the sales of my Sustainable Hardwood futon frames and a huge jump in interest around our 100% organic & chemical free futon mattresses. So much so that I’m writing a post about it!

Why are some many of my site visitors interested in the eco friendly futons?

The futon frames have 12 year warranties

The mattresses are more natural, less oil products go into their production than those 100% foam mattresses

Their better on the environment with sustainable practices and less chemicals
