I’ll state right now that this is not the proper way to move a futon frame, but it’s a whole lot easier than moving a sleeper sofa. I couldn’t even see those two guys lifting a sleeper sofa up there. Check out the vid, you’ll see what I mean.

I normally don’t go for metal futon frames, in fact I don’t think I’d ever go for this one, but I do need to say that I think this metal futon frame is a step in the right direction. Normally metal futon frames have seat and back decks with no real support, usually in terms of slat spacing. But, this frame over at Overstock seems to have a good amount of support with it’s old school wire framework in the seat and back decks. If you’d going to get a metal frame, this is probably the way to go.
I’m back at the futon blog from the holidays and want to say that I’m beat! I went for way to long without any dojo time or exercise, a fact I remembered when I saw a commercial for the dip bar. That and the pain I’m having from a back spasm! But, this week I’ll be back at the dojo and hope to put that behind me!
This week I switch back to a regular style office chair after a couple years on my knee sit computer chair, and I couldn’t be more please with the decision. It took a bit of searching thru many office furniture websites, but when I found the right chair at the right price, I made the switch without hesitation. Now, I’m enjoying my computer time and sitting properly again!
