I just read up a bit on a new stem cell technology called Cryo-Cell that takes stems cells in a manner that doesn’t destroy a life as it’s obtained. Cryo-cell recently announced a partnership with the National Institutes of Health in researching the potential treatment of breast cancer using stem cells collected via their methods.
To me this is an important issue, and even though this is a futon blog I want to bring peoples attention to it. 13 years ago in July I lost a sister to cancer.
